Finish is nice and smooth.
PRO: The look of the desk is streamline and I like that you can switch from having it against wall to a free standing desk.
CON: The left side that has the sliding draw to open to the storage area is a bit tricky and has come of the track a couple of times. I rather had a door to open like the other side.
Overall this desk meets all my expectations of what I was looking for in a desk.4
