4 Cube Decorative Bookshelf - Room Essentials™

I am a professional organizer, and like this cube organizer for very basic storage. It is not the sturdiest, but very helpful in a small space when you don’t want to spend a lot of money. I was able to assemble it in under 15 minutes.

Easy to assemble. Says you need two people but I built it alone. Quality is decent for the price. I waited til it was on a sale.

This basic bookshelf is working perfectly for our playroom. It fits great in a compact space and does manage to hold a lot for its size. And, thinking ahead for when we get a bigger bookshelf, this could be repurposed well as a Barbie house :p

So flimsy. Dowels don’t even hold up the middle shelves!

You can see it’s not perfect and tilts to the side - it’s centered at the bottom but touches the right wall at the top. But you get what you pay for! This is dirt cheap, so for the price, it works well. It’s not a big deal to me because it’s in a closet, but if this were to be displayed in my home I would be paying for solid wood cubes and white glove delivery and installation from a high-end store. But if you’re on a budget (or it’s going in a closet) this isn’t bad. The installation was relatively easy. As a woman in my 20s, it took me about 15-20 minutes to put each set together.

Just assembled this 4 cube bookshelf by room essentials and am very impressed by how easy it was to assemble and the quality of the piece for the cost. There is a more expensive version but if you are on a budget, this does the job perfectly!

My granddaughter needed two cubes in her classroom so i bought 2 4cubbie storage shelves at Targets and delivered them to her school where she was setting up. She loved them!!

This item replaced the item I originally ordered which was similar but this is far poorer quality. Much smaller and less sturdy than the similar item that Target sells. The plastic screw covers are not flush. It looks and feels cheap. I would not have purchased this item if I had been in the store and been able to see the difference.

Easy to assemble, does what it’s supposed to do

Very happy with this simple shelving solution for my toddler’s books. For this price, $28, I’ll be able to replace it without feeling like I overspent on a temporary furniture item. And although you need to fully assemble, it took less than an hour with my toddler “helping”. Highly recommend.

I love this cute little book case but the directions were not helpful and you can't add the screw cover to the bottom or else it will rock and not be sturdy. Otherwise, great deal for a simple book case!

I purchased this for the top of my daughters closet! It was perefect for folded clothing and additional accessories! We purchased 3 of these

I needed something to put under windows for a large plant and have more room for my grnadkids toys for when they come to visit. easy to put together.

It’s good for the price. Instructions were a not the easiest to follow but got it done in 30 min. I use this for playroom for my kid’s school and learning materials :) works great!

Good idea but poor execution. The cube is very wobbly on its own, specifically on hardwood floors which I have. My intended purpose for this was to have in my closet with the fabric cube boxes. Everytime I go to slide a fabric bin, the entire furniture slides and just wobbly. It is not sturdy and will attempt to return assembled before disassembling as this will be returned. Wish it could have worked due to the price.

I liked the size. Was looking to use as a side table with storage in small apartment. However it had very raw edges and not a “finished look.” Targets next level up Brightroom the measurements wouldn’t have worked. And honestly I didn’t care for the display in the store. This project did not have display. The screws don’t sit flush and the white covers for them sit out even further. I will be returning. Found identical product at Lowe’s for same price with much much better quality, heavier item and refined look when completed. The 11inch baskets from target are technically only 8 inch tall so I did not like the look. The one photo compares the two baskets. You can see the 11 inch basket from Lowe’s is a true 11 inch tall basket. I would pass on this unless your just sticking it somewhere in a closet where you won’t see it. I had to strategically place picture frame over the screw to hide it on the top.

Smaller than the normal ones but it’s perfect for extra space for kids clothes! So so easy to build, I did it by myself in 10 minutes.
