This seemed like a solid trundle bed for the price. As I was just starting to assemble it, I realized that the mattress we had intended to use in the trundle was too thick. At the time I purchased this in December 2022, the product page did not mention the maximum mattress height. As of this writing, it does mention that the trundle can handle a mattress up to 6" in height. Bummer for us, but this would likely be a great solution if you have the right sized mattress.

Manufactured pre-mounted brackets are positioned in the wrong place. Which causes the slats to not fit. At first i thought the slats were short but it's actually the manufacturers brackets are that in in the wrong place. They need to in more. I tried contacting the seller numerous times and they tell you to email them, then the emailed response was to call. The call lead me back to the same email. Now I'm forced to make my own slats to fitGDon't buy!!!!
