This experience culminated in the 1946 mass production of this coffee table, a tribute to Eames' wartime innovation. Featuring lightweight, contoured designs, its saucer-like top and arched legs mirror the original post-war release. Constructed with heat-molded plywood, the table incorporates 8 cross-plies in its base and 5 in its top. It maintains kiln-dried stability, ensuring a consistent moisture balance. With a smooth hardwood surface, the table is finished with five layers of UV-cured polyurethane, resisting scratches. Its satin finish replicates the original subtle sheen. Made from North American Walnut, it boasts a Janka Hardness Rating of 1010 PSI, with dimensions of 16.5 inches in height and 34.3 inches in diameter.
