While differing in various aspects, these groups are connected through shared migration paths, leading a life that is both vivid and stark. The Smithsonian African Art Museum’s Photographic Archives has accepted this collection, which brings to life the unique environment and the distinct traditions, rites, and cultural practices of its people.
