Observed initially at One Kings Lane, this image from Alex Hoerner’s "Surface Tension" series depicts a large bubble floating against a serene seascape. The photo is printed on semi-gloss paper and comes beautifully framed, ready to hang. Alex Hoerner, born in Los Angeles, learned photography building box cameras with his father. He graduated from Wheaton College and has done editorial work for The New York Times Magazine, The Guardian Observer, GQ, Vogue, Details, Nylon, and i-D. He collaborated with BBH, ChiatDay, and GSDandM for ATandT, Visa, and Southwest campaigns. In 2010, Alex and his family moved back to Los Angeles after nearly ten years in New York. His fine art shows have been showcased in New York, California, and Hawaii.
