Constructed in a Mid-Century Modern style, the chair and ottoman feature matte velvet, composed of 95% polyester and 5% cotton, with a fabric weight of 500 grams per square meter. It is designed with a fiberglass shell and black steel base frame, and the foam provides a smooth form. The foam used is safe and meets fire regulations without additional chemicals, delivering medium-soft seating comfort, offering consistent support and relaxation. The chair dimensions are 37.8" in width, 38.6" in depth, and 35" in height, with a floor-to-seat height of 18.1". The ottoman measures 24.8" in width, 21.7" in depth, and 18.9" in height. The chair and ottoman are hand-crafted with removable cushions on both, and feature adjustable floor-protecting pad discs and standard leg protection caps, easily assembled in 15 minutes backed by a Kardiel 3-Year Limited Warranty. The design pays homage to the original 1948 Classic with black steel tube legs and foam-covered fiberglass shell. Loose cushions and a matching ottoman allow relaxation, reminding contemporary spaces of their modernist roots. Matte velvet is plush and stain-resistant, with a low-luster sheen reminiscent of natural fibers, ideal for pets and active areas. It is made from fine polyester and cotton yarns, providing excellent fade and stain resistance and a soft glow.
