Photographer Alex Hoerner, a Los Angeles native, started building box cameras with his father as a child. After Wheaton College, he undertook editorial projects for The New York Times Magazine, The Guardian Observer, GQ, and other publications. In collaboration with BBH, ChiatDay, and GSD&M, he worked on campaigns for brands like AT&T and Visa. In 2010, he and his family moved back to Los Angeles after nearly a decade in New York, having held fine art shows in New York, California, and Hawaii.
