1955 Modernist Icon
Originally designed in 1955, this cubed wood sideboard featured thin industrial steel tubes capped in solid walnut. During reproduction, adjustments were made for better usability. Reducing the bank of drawers from 6 to 5 provided more vertical space for each drawer. A concealed finger groove on the drawer face allows easy opening, and a black steel plate behind the drawer face keeps contents hidden.
