Boreal's solid frame is suspended 3" in the air. The front and back are made of two solid panels of tempered glass, providing a light and airy design.

Modern Craftsmanship

Boreal's design includes body suspension, the meeting of horizontal and vertical solid planes, and extensive use of glass. Two tempered glass panels are supported by three low-profile stainless steel extension cylinders, extending the glass panels 5/8" off the fireplace body. The glass panels reach the floor on both sides, leaving the fireplace body floating just over 3" off the ground.

Table Top fireplaces: Smaller fireplaces ideal for placement on flat surfaces such as tables, counters, bars, and shelves.
Free Standing open floor fireplaces: Larger fireplaces ideal for free placement in rooms. They house their own clean-burning fuel source, requiring no hookups or venting. They are moveable and can be arranged like furniture.
Free hanging "picture style" wall fireplaces: These fireplaces hang directly on the wall, attaching similarly to a piece of art or picture frame using included wall screws.
Inset wall mounted fireplaces: Designed to inset into the wall or desired surface, achieving a cleaner, streamlined effect. This installation is considered somewhat permanent as a portion of the wall must be cut to allow the fireplace to be inserted. Recommended for skilled DIY or professional installation. Mounting bracket and hardware are included.

Operation:

Ethanol fireplaces are a great option for bringing the ambiance of a fireplace to your home without the maintenance. Here are some guidelines for safe operation. Please read the operation instructions included with your new fireplace before using it.

Do not place next to curtains or flammable products.
Do not move the fireplace while the flame is burning or while it is hot.
Use only ethanol fireplace fuel.
Do not add fuel to the fireplace while it is burning or hot. Wait until it is cool.
Ensure wall-mounted fireplaces are securely fixed to the wall.
Do not touch the burner with bare hands during or after combustion. Wait until it is cool.
Light using a long stem wand lighter.
Use the included diffuser to extinguish the fire properly.
Do not dust or clean the fireplace while in use or hot.
Metal burners will discolor with use and exposure to heat. This is normal and not a defect.

This delivery option is ideal for those seeking a full-service experience with no lifting or physical effort involved. A team of two home delivery professionals will arrive on a prescheduled day and time. Your furnishings will be brought into your home and placed in the desired location. The furniture will be removed from the packaging, and the old packaging material will be placed in a designated location.

If you need doors removed and replaced, live in a condo or high-rise building, or have stairs to climb, we will ensure the safe arrival of your items. Average delivery times are 9-12 business days from the day your order leaves the Kardiel warehouse.

Curbside Residential Delivery

This economical delivery option brings your new furnishings directly to your home or business. The term curbside indicates that the items are brought to the curb but not inside the home.

This is a signed delivery option, meaning you will need to be present to accept the delivery. You will need to carry the items into your home or office, as this service does not include inside delivery. Tracking numbers are provided within 24 hours of your order leaving the Kardiel warehouse. Average delivery times nationwide for this service are 7-10 business days from the day the shipment leaves the Kardiel warehouse. The delivery is guaranteed safe when you inspect and sign with the driver for any potential shipping damage. The delivery company will call to schedule the delivery date and time window as the arrival date of your items approaches.

Hawaii & Alaska

For orders to Hawaii and Alaska, allow an average of 12-18 business days for arrival. Tracking numbers will be provided. Orders to these locations are not eligible for continental U.S. shipping promotions. Due to over-water transport, the shopping cart will not calculate shipping costs.
