The designer and architect Verner Panton (1926-1998) created Panthella together with Louis Poulsen in 1971. Panton’s figurative and playful design radiates his larger than life personality and Panthella stands out as one of the designer’s most significant design icons with its organic shape that mirrors the softest of light. The Panthella Mini lamp is a downscaled edition of the original table lamp and its smaller format makes for easy placement on windowsills, shelves, tables or other limited surfaces.
Panthella Mini features a metal shade available in Brass metallized, High lustre chrome plated, Black, White and Orange. It is also available with a White or Grey opal acrylic shade, spreading the light diffusely for a soft and appealing illumination of the surroundings.
The fixture emits a soft and comfortable illumination. The metal version directs the light directly downwards and creates a soft and comfortable illumination due to the inner white painted shade and the reflection from the trumpet shaped stem. The acrylic version leaves a diffused comfortable light atmosphere due to the color and the downward reflection from the inner shade.
