OS&B Island Tub Drain Freestanding Bath Tub Drain (Rough-in)

The Island Tub Drain from Oakville Stamping & Bending Ltd. lets you install a freestanding bathtub quickly and easily. No mess and no hassle, it's that straightforward. Your installation process is more efficient. Install your tub at the trim stage rather than during rough-in, avoiding tub damage. Your tiler can even run tiles beneath the tub without cutting around it, which saves time significantly. It allows for the freestanding tub location to be defined during rough-in. Compatible with waterproofing membranes, it is designed for 8" (1-1/2" outlet) or 10" (2" outlet recommended) joist spaces. The ITD35 comes with a brass tailpiece and ABS adapter kit for attachment to waste/overflow systems. You can install it over a finished floor by connecting the supplied tailpiece or ABS reducing bushing to the bath drain and lowering the tub into the rubber seal. Features a durable, 18-gauge epoxy-coated metal deck flange. Certified for both Canada and the US, it includes a fine thread 17G brass tailpiece and attaches easily to 314 series and 314DC series bath wastes. An ABS adapter kit is included for connection to bath wastes. The package contains an island drain assembly with a 1-1/2" DWV ABS tailpiece, a 2" x 1-1/2" ABS reducing bushing, and a cutting template. Installation tips: use a 6.5" hole saw (not included) to cut the subfloor. The cutting template is included for convenience. Secure the deck flange with six screws (not included), and do not cut the brass tailpiece to prevent leaks. ITD35 should be installed as a freestanding tub rough-in before tile installation.
