This piece uses plantation-grown, European grade teak from FSC-certified upcycled wood sourced from old-growth forests in Indonesia. A six-week kiln drying process removes moisture from the wood, preventing shrinkage or expansion due to temperature changes. Teak naturally resists water, insects, mold, and mildew, making it highly durable. The loveseat combines precision machine production with handmade craftsmanship using traditional Mortise and Tenon joinery from local artisans. It features 100% solution-dyed acrylic Sunbrella cushions that resist UV rays, fading, mold, and stains. Seat cushions consist of plush polyester over a foam core for structure and softness, while back cushions use a softer, costlier polyester for comfort.
