In the 1930s, Eero Saarinen introduced a collection of uniquely-shaped plywood chairs. These designs ultimately won the 1940 Organic Design in Home Furnishings competition sponsored by MoMA. Saarinen's work served as inspiration for a chair that offers excellent comfort.
