Additionally, the wide-set bottom frame provides an elevated seating appearance. The sofa is crafted from plantation-grown, European-grade teak sourced from FSC-certified upcycled wood from old-growth forests in the Indonesian archipelago. The teak undergoes a six-week kiln drying process to remove moisture, preventing shrinkage or expansion due to temperature and humidity changes. Teak's natural resistance to water, insects, mold, and mildew makes it highly durable. This sofa combines machine precision with handmade traditional Mortise and Tenon construction for smooth, tight joinery, highlighting local artisans' craftsmanship. The cushions are made from 100% solution-dyed acrylic Sunbrella fabric, which is UV resistant, fade resistant, mold and mildew resistant, spill-proof, and stain-resistant.
