The teak used is plantation-grown, European grade teak from FSC-certified upcycled wood, sourced from old-growth forests across the Indonesian archipelago. The wood undergoes a six-week kiln drying process to remove moisture, preventing shrinkage or expansion due to temperature and humidity changes. Teak is naturally resistant to water, insects, mold, and mildew, making it one of the most durable materials available. This loveseat combines machine precision with handmade traditional Mortise and Tenon construction for smooth and tight joinery, highlighting the craftsmanship of local artisans.
