The Charles Sofa offers a comfortable and inviting place to relax. It's part of Antonio Citterio's Charles system, a popular design in furniture since 1997. This sofa line includes a wide range of elements to satisfy diverse furnishing needs and comfort levels. Materials & Features: The frame is made from naturally rot-resistant Merbau wood without chemical treatments. Cushions contain high resilience foam with a feather-down wrap and offer a medium firm feel, with customizable softness. Upholstery options include fabric, classic suede, and top grain/aniline leather. COM is available. The legs are made of #304 grade stainless steel with a brushed finish. All materials and fillings are non-toxic and fire-safe, with further configurations available upon request. Antonio Citterio, born in 1950, crafted his first furniture piece in his father's workshop, and at 18 won his first design award. By 22, he opened his design studio while studying architecture at Milan Polytechnic. In 2000, with Patricia Viel, he founded a practice for architecture and interior design, collaborating with international brands on prestigious projects around the globe.
