Antonio Citterio designed the Charles Sofa to be a comfortable sanctuary. Since its launch in 1997, it has turned into a classic interior design element. The Charles line provides a range of options to meet diverse furnishing needs, surpassing basic comfort requirements. With a structure made from rot-resistant Merbau wood, the sofa's cushions are filled with high resiliency foam wrapped in feather-down for a medium firmness that can be adjusted. Upholstery choices include fabric, classic suede, and top grain leather, supported by stainless steel legs. All materials are non-toxic and fire-resistant. Additional configurations can be customized upon request. Antonio Citterio, born in 1950, crafted his first furniture piece in his father's workshop and achieved early recognition with a design award at 18. By 22, he established his own design studio and has been involved in countless international architectural projects.
