Offering remarkable comfort, Charles Sofa serves as a cozy retreat, reflecting the new vision of Antonio Citterio's Charles system, a classic in interior design since 1997. Charles provides a versatile range of pieces catering to every furnishing need and comfort preference. It has a Merbau wooden frame, untreated with chemicals, and cushions with high resilience foam wrapped in feather-down, offering a medium-firm feel, with custom softness options. Upholstery is available in Classic Suede or Top Grain/Aniline Leather (custom options available). The legs are made from #304 grade stainless steel with a brushed finish. All upholstery materials and fillings are non-toxic and fire-resistant. Various configuration options are available. Antonio Citterio began his furniture design career in his father's workshop before opening his own studio while studying architecture, and later, with Patricia Viel, established a world-renowned architecture and design practice.
