Designed by Antonio Citterio, it represents a modern twist on the classic Charles system, which has been a staple in interior design since 1997. Charles offers a variety of components that can fulfill all furnishing needs, catering to personal comfort preferences. Structure is framed with naturally rot-resistant Merbau wood and lacks chemical treatment. The cushions are filled with high-resiliency foam wrapped in feather-down. It offers a medium firm cushion seat feel with customizable softness. Options include various fabric or leather upholstery finishes. Legs are crafted from #304 grade stainless steel with a brushed look. All upholstery and fill materials are non-toxic and fire-safe. Additional configurations are available by request.
