Designed by Mario Bellini, the modular elements of this sofa can be arranged individually. Equipped with rings and carabiners, the backs and armrests offer a versatile 'seating landscape'. Known for its comfort, the sofa's modular nature allows flexible solutions for any space. Materials include a frame from rot-resistant Merbau wood, free from chemicals, with shaped polyurethane foam in three layers of varying density. Features solid wood legs with a black stain and upholstery options in Fabric or Aniline/Vintage Leather. Upholstery materials and fillings are non-toxic and fire-resistant. Mario Bellini, an Italian architect and designer, is acclaimed for his elegant furniture, including the modular sofa known for its adaptability. Born in Milan, Italy, in 1935, he graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1959. Bellini worked with Olivetti, redesigning typewriters with innovative features, and became famous for furniture designs, including office chairs like Figura, Persona, Imago, and Forma. Since the 1980s, Bellini has focused on architectural projects, including the Sheik Zayed Museum and the London Link Bridge. His work is part of collections at The Museum of Modern Art in New York, among others.
