Through her work, she seeks to highlight themes of autonomy and the balance of presence. Bernegger studied at Parsons New School of Design, the San Francisco Academy of Art, and holds a BFA from SUNY Purchase. She is also involved in therapeutic arts at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
