Made of 100% cotton with 80% being upcycled, cotton remains a wonderful material—soft, breathable, absorbent, and biodegradable. However, significant water use is involved in its production. With immense denim production annually, about 15% becomes waste. Meema, a certified B Corp, transforms this waste without producing any waste in the cycle. The aim is circular transformation akin to nature's processes. All waste is turned into compost, which local growers in Guatemala use to cultivate delicious Arabica coffee.
