Designed by Kit Kemp for Wedgwood, this place setting from the Sailor’s Farewell collection is crafted of prized bone china and depicts a sailor’s wife waving her scarf in the wind along with motifs of the sailor’s adventures on the high seas, both above and below the waterline, based on the acclaimed designer’s line of embroidered fabrics and inspired by a John Craxton drawing. A pale blue linen-like finish and hand-applied 22K gold detailing complete the whimsical design.
