Captured exclusively for One Kings Lane, this photograph was taken at writer John Steinbeck's Sag Harbor residence, where he lived with his wife Elaine and their poodle, Charley. Steinbeck chose to bring Charley along when he embarked on his American exploration, an adventure documented in Travels with Charley.
