1970s Warren Platner for Knoll 36" Round Coffee Table in Steel and Glass

This is a Platner Coffee Table, model 3714T, initially designed by Warren Platner for Knoll in 1966. This particular example dates to the 1970s. The design features a nickel-plated steel base, and has a tempered glass top. The base is constructed of vertical steel rods that are welded to circular horizontal and edge-framing rods. It is truly a work of art in and of itself.

This table measures 36 inches in diameter and is 15.25 inches high. The base shows some patina from age, and the glass top is clean and has no chips to its beveled edge. Overall, this original Platner table is in very good condition. Please see photos. Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded on a case by case basis, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customer's responsibility to pay for return shipping and ship the item back to us. If the item is found to be faulty, we will also refund the postage cost. If there is no damage to the item, but a return is approved, the buyer will be responsible for both the initial and return shipping cost.
