A medium spreading tree that bears fragrant blossoms and shiny fruit all year in cooler climates. Contains few thorns and is very cold tolerant. The fruit is medium to small in size and is very juicy. Usually is picked green and is yellow when mature; does not hold well on the tree. • Persian lime advantages over other limes: absence of seeds, longer fruit shelf life and absence of thorns on plant • The Persian lime is a triploid cross between a key lime and lemon • It produces abundantly indoors or out • Has a distinct spicy aroma and a tasty savory blend of lime and lemon minus the bitterness or acidity • Sun-loving tropical tree that needs plenty of sunlight Preferred Zones: 9-10 Sun Needs: 8-10 hours of direct sunlight per day Growth Height: 15-20 ft.
