The Steinbeck | Solid Wood | Mid-Century Modern Record Storage Console
Just as the iconic 20th-century author has been called, "a giant of American letters," The Steinbeck is a giant of a console capable of storing over a thousand records. Composed of the finest hand-selected hardwood lumber, this mid-century credenza is ready to house and display whatever storage needs you have, whether it be records, dining ware, books, or other memorabilia. The Steinbeck features two rows of sliding doors in the middle bay, and then swing doors with brass pulls on the outermost sections which are capped by slightly "arc-ed" external walls (see photos). Available in a variety of woods; pictured is Walnut. (Please note, all of our pieces are made out of solid wood with the exception of the back which is composed of a high-quality veneer. This is done for added structural integrity of the piece as well as to maintain the 'squareness' of the console over the longevity of its life).
