Modern Wood Dining Table, in White Oak, by Studio DiPaolo

This dining table in our new dining table/console table series is called the "Ellen" table, and it is hand made with solid oak legs and rails, and is complemented by a richly figured matching oak veneer panel in the center of each table. In this series, we have created three tables that incorporate all mitered corners, and blend two complementary geometries. The introduction of a faceted edge in the rail profile and multiple facets in the leg profile create a dynamic corner to this table that provides lightness, shadow, and a sensuous asymmetrical quality to the table. This square version of the table sits four people comfortably for dinner, or in a conference room, and the larger rectangular version will seat 8 people for dinner or in a conference room as well. The console table version in this series shares the same details, and is a natural choice in an entry hall, or as a sofa table, and it works well as a buffet table in the dining room. All tables rest on wool felt feet.
