Tango Coat Stand
Paying tribute to Italian design, Finnish designer Timo Ripatti also celebrates artisan skills with Tango. Created for the Billiani collection, this coat stand doubles as a decorative object in an entryway. It features six poles that come together like a bouquet of flowers or a bunch of twigs. To create the sculptural design, Timo Ripatti favored traditional crafting techniques. As a result, Tango features no screws or metal fittings. Instead, the poles are carefully milled to fit into each other perfectly, strengthening the entire structure at the same time. Made with six arms, this coat stand provides a clever solution to keep the entrance to your home both elegant and clutter-free.
