Large Empire Style Chandelier with structure in cast bronze, 16 Lights
Large Empire style chandelier with 16 lights, mid-1900s. The chandelier is characterized by rich bronze casting and chiselling, embellished with decorations representing swan heads and various festoons inspired by the decorations of ancient Rome. From the cup at the top come eight sturdy worked chains that support the structure made up of 16 arms with candles for E14 bulbs. The lower part is characterized by a red enamelled plate that ends with a pine cone-shaped tip. The chandelier has been restored, the bronze cleaned, the plate has been repainted because it was in bad condition, thus returning to its former glory. Dimensions: Diameter 72cm, Height 90cm.
