A superb example of a solid mahogany with dark bottle green leather hide writing desk, dating from the early 1900s. Exceptional colour to the leather surface, pull out brushing slides to either side. One side with four dummy drawers. The other with two short, one long and one double frieze drawers. Brass escutcheons. Original working lock and key. Tapered legs. Brass castors. A beautiful piece of furniture.
