This barrel is an eye-catcher and an ideal decoration for every party, no matter where it is placed. Each barrel has its own story, which is told through flaws such as scratches, stains and other individual characteristics. Tasty red wine was previously stored in them for around three to five years. The south of Europe is not only known for the production of good wines, but also for high-quality handcrafted barrique barrels. In our workshop, the barrel is prepared by first removing rough scratches and impurities by sanding. Nevertheless, we try to retain the charm of the barrel, so that even after sanding, you can still see characteristic traces of red wine and stains from storage. The barrel rings are also sanded and deburred. If the barrel continues to dry, the rings stay in place thanks to our screw connection and do not slip. The wood is untreated and natural. For outdoor use, e.g. as a bar table or for decoration, we recommend treating it with wood oil or other wood preservatives, as it can immediately turn grey and become more brittle due to the effects of the weather.
