1970s Mushroom Lamp, Design Lamp, Dijkstra Holland, Midcentury

Large design table lamp from the 1970s made by the Dijkstra company from Haarlem, the Netherlands. Also called mushroom lamp. The shade is made of plastic with a beautiful brown color that blends in and is lit by 2 lamps (large fitting). The hood is still in nice condition, it does have a few light scratches and a dent on top. That is allowed after 50 years. Furthermore, it is simply a beautiful design classic that is very atmospheric! Diameter of the shade is no less than 40 cm and 80 cm high. Founded in 1922 by Fokke Dijkstra in Haarlem, Dijkstra lamps is one of the oldest Dutch lamp factories in the Netherlands and makes high-quality lighting fixtures with an architectural appearance.
