Chaise Tout Bois Chair Vitra | VITRA 21064500
Beautifully shaped: Chaise Tout Bois chair by Vitra. The only chair made entirely of wood by the French constructor and designer Jean Prouvé - the Chaise Tout Bois chair by Vitra. It corresponds formally to the well-known Standard Chair, but due to a lack of metal resources during the Second World War, the base was replaced by a wooden frame. In 1947, Prouvé received an award for Chaise Tout Bois in the 'Meubles de France' competition. The version shown here is based on designs from 1941 that do not use screws at all.
