Sonneman for Kovacs Steel and Chrome Cubist Floor Lamp in Red, 1950s

Mid Century Modern cubist floor lamp. Designed by Robert Sonneman for George Kovacs. Designed and produced in the 1950s. Base is made out of either solid iron or steel. Has a long chrome neck and a red steel cubist block shade. Lamp is in great original condition with some light signs of wear and patina. The cube shade is very functional and moves in a variety of ways to angle the light. Lamp is 50” high and the base is 8” by 5.75”.
