Scantling
Wood and metal are combined in a design of basic geometric shapes. The Scantling is based on a very functional and flexible system in which all the movements of the screen, with full rotation, are solved by means of ball joints and arms to create a versatile light, easy to move. In addition, its technical precision does not require springs or counterweights in sight to maintain the chosen position. The English word Scantling refers to a wooden ribbon that was formerly used as a unit of measurement, especially in shipbuilding. And that is precisely what stands out most about the applique version, the small wooden structure that allows the diffuser to be moved. The Scantling collection also includes two standing and one table versions.
