This means it is thicker than than most prayer rugs, and is one of the thickest prayer rugs we carry! The thickness makes it great for using on harder floors. Care: Hand wash, line dry for best results. May be washed on gentle cycle, cold, in a washing machine, but be aware that the tassels may come loose. We do not recommend regular washing or drying.
