Ptolomeo Book Stand 75

The Ptolomeo Book Stand 75 was designed by Bruno Rainaldi for the manufacturer Opinion Ciatti. It stands 75cm high, 25cm wide, and 25cm deep, and consists of a sturdy stainless steel framework into which books and magazines can be slotted. This version holds approximately 30 volumes. When the stand is completely filled, it creates the impression of a self-supporting pile of books. Lacquered in a range of monochrome finishes, it is a versatile alternative to traditional bookcases and fixed shelving.
