Extra-heavy-duty open metal shelving units bolt together and provide more strength and rigidity than open metal shelving units with lower duty levels. They hold dies, fixtures, jigs, and other very heavy equipment. Standalone shelving units cannot be expanded with add-on units, but multiple standalone units can be placed side-by-side, if desired. These shelving units consist of posts and shelves. The posts provide a frame for the shelves, and the shelves bolt onto the posts.
