The zebra quatrefoil planter is for all design adventurers. This porcelain centerpiece planter is shaped to hold four 6" diameter plant containers. Perfect with a spray of white orchids or assorted green plants, the container is accented with metal feet. It can also be used for fresh flowers, as it holds water, or for entertaining as a wine bucket. Simply line the bottom with a towel or bubble wrap for protection, then add ice. A little background history: In 1945, Flora Scalamandre was asked by a friend in New York, Gino Circiello, who was opening a small restaurant, to develop a fun, animated wallpaper for his new restaurant Gino's. He fell in love with the whimsical repeat of the prancing zebras that she presented to him. The motif was instantly put into repeat and printed on wallpaper in the color of the rich marinara sauce. It's still a hit today!
