Based on the design and material, I believe the rug comes from the 1920s. The authentic Navajo rug measures 60" long and 33 1/2" wide. As stated above, the blanket is in solid, yet used condition. There is patina from use everywhere. There are some losses on one corner edge, and several discoloration spots. There is some slight fraying along the edges, in the corners, and some dark spots in the body of one side of the rug. A professional cleaning is an interesting idea. The rug is being sold AS IS.
