Barcelona Chair Designed by Mies van der Rohe for Knoll, originally in 1929. Brown leather. Knoll manufacturer tags are dated 1983 on bottom of seat cushions. One of the most recognized chairs of the last century, and an icon of the modern movement, the Barcelona Chair exudes a simple elegance that epitomizes Mies van der Rohe's most famous maxim–“less is more.” Condition: Overall good to very good condition. Leather is in good condition, with some minimal wear for its age. Leather seat straps are showing a few signs of cracking, as shown in photos. Stainless steel is also in good condition, showing no signs of rust or pitting, just minimal faint surface scratches. Shipping: Shipping is not included in the price of purchase.
