This gorgeous set of solid pewter chessmen are hand painted with meticulous detail. The bottom of each chess piece has felt, so they will not scratch your board. This is a stunning set to leave on your coffee table or in your study, game room out on display just as you would an expensive piece of crystal to be admired. This is a very heavy set the weight of the chessmen are 13 lbs. Each piece is individually hand painted by master artisans. King height Tut 3 3/4". King height Julius Caesar: 4". Base diameter: 1 1/4". Imported from the Orient. The chess board is inlaid briarwood, birds-eye-maple with a black onyx type boarder around the board. The luxury chess board has a high gloss finish on top, it is imported from Italy. Size of board: 20" sq.
