Our beautiful pale wood antique elm coffee table has a wonderful rustic weathered top. This is a charming and original item crafted from solid elm, featuring stunning pale hardwood timbers as though bleached by the sun over time. It has all the wonderful characteristics you would expect from timber that is over a hundred years old. The timber is soft, tactile and smooth to the touch. Its lovely weathered appearance features cracks, knots and rustic details that in our opinion only make it more lovely. The timbers have been carefully sanded in a way that still allows the age of the timbers to be revealed. Imperfections and historic marks are generally not sanded from the surface and are left on show to celebrate the age of this item. Please therefore expect rustic imperfections and weathered details and surface features to bear the marks of the passage of time.
