Plec is a collection made of steel, a tough, strong and stable material, but when in sheet form is both malleable and flexible. This feature allows for molding peculiar shapes like the folds that love to create light and shade effects at any time of day. Our designers and engineers chose a thickness of 0.059 for the structure, considering the material weight, structural integrity, design appeal, functionality and, of course, safety. This thickness allows repetitive folding without losing firmness and stability but still provides some sculptural and visual flexibility. The heavier the top and the higher the base, the more likely you could experience a slight 'twisting' sensation if you move the table or if the floor is uneven. Small levelers are provided for adjustment. The Plec table collection fits stylishly into any setting and space. Like most furniture, they are designed to be lifted and put in to place. The Plec tables are safe and perfect for use as a coffee table or for placing decorative objects. Plec tables comes in four colours (black, white, red and green) and with a metal or marble finish.
