A modern Memphis style 3-piece glass sculpture with cityscape design by California artist Joan Irving. Etched signature in middle piece and dated 1989. A dynamic composition that has an architectural, futuristic inspiration. Joan Irving is a world-renowned glass artist with sculptures in the permanent collection of the Corning Glass Museum. She was commissioned to create the new terminal of Lindbergh Field, the Port of San Diego as well as currently working on the restoration project of the Empire State Building in New York. From a private collection. Dimensions: 9”h x 9.25”w x 3.5”d (left), 16”h x 16”w x 3.5”d (middle), 11”h x 9”w x 3.5”d (right). In very good vintage condition.
