About Carrara Italian Marble

Carrara Marble has been used since Ancient Rome. It is a premium material for building construction and sculptural art. Carrara features white marble with bluish/grey veining. Many Renaissance sculptures, including Michelangelo's David, were made using Carrara Marble. There are 650 quarry sites in the Carrara Apennine Alps, where more marble is quarried than anywhere else on earth.
