Aloha Modify-It™ Modern Design

The design origins are clean European, with comfort inspired by the relaxed style of the Hawaiian Islands. The Aloha series comes in many configurations, all featuring a minimalist frame and thick, ample cube cushions. The back cushions are consistent in shape, with the frame itself “lean tapered” for a more comfortable lounging experience. The cushion stitch style is smooth and clean, without edge piping.

The generously proportioned frame is hand-woven from colorfast PE Resin wicker. The fabric is Season-Smart™ 100% Outdoor Polyester, resistant to mildew, fading, and staining. Modify-It™ is built with a strong yet lightweight, rust-proof aluminum frame for easy handling.

About Season-Smart™ Fabric

Season-Smart™ is a tightly woven all-weather fabric designed for outdoor use. It features a fabric weight of 280 grams per square meter, an upgrade from standard outdoor furniture fabrics. A refined over-under stitch provides a smooth surface, ideal for modern upholstery. The 100% Polyester fiber content resists mildew, staining, and fading.

What is Modify-It™?

Modify-It™ outdoor modular furniture comes in pre-configured sets made up of individual units. The Aloha series by Modify-It™ is available in 9 collections, differing in the number and type of units included. Each unit in the collections maintains the same quality and design. For example, the Kauna 5pc collection and the Maui 9pc collection differ in the number and type of pieces, the space they occupy, and the potential configurations. You can use the configuration as pictured or modify it as needed by moving the pieces around. Purchase an existing configuration or add additional pieces to meet your specific requirements. For example, add a chaise lounge to the Kauna 5pc set to make it a 6pc set. So, go ahead, Modify-It™.

Get creative.

With a little imagination, the individual pieces in each of the 9 Aloha collections can be rearranged to provide many variations other than the one pictured. A sofa can be made up of 2 corner units and 1 or 2 middle armless sections, depending on the desired length. The seat height of the ottoman matches the seat height of the corner and armless units, offering flexibility in configuration. Turn a sofa into a left or right-facing chaise sectional by adding an ottoman to either side, create a full “L” shaped sectional, or use an ottoman for extra seating or as a footrest. Loveseats can be turned into sofas and back into loveseats by removing the armless center section, which then becomes a standalone side chair.

Cross Linked Polyethylene Resin (HD-PE Resin)

Polyethylene Resin is commonly used in plastic bottles, with an annual global production of 80 million tons. Cross Linked Polyethylene's ability to withstand extreme weather makes it ideal for manufacturing rattan for outdoor furniture. Its flexibility allows for easy “basket weaving,” ensuring stability when exposed to elements like sunlight, heat, water, and freezing temperatures. Cross Linked Polyethylene Rattan is colorfast, with dye added during extrusion to minimize scratch marks and improve fade resistance.

High Tensile Aluminum (HTA) Frames

High Tensile Aluminum is used for the structural frame, with rattan woven around it. While steel is stronger and cheaper, it rusts when exposed to moisture and is heavy. The Modify-It series uses High Tensile Aluminum frames for lifelong corrosion-free, lightweight strength. These frames are 18mm x18mm x 1.2mm thick, providing a logical outdoor solution.

Curbside Residential Delivery

This economical option delivers your furnishings to your home or business curbside. You will need to be present to accept the delivery and carry the items inside. Tracking numbers are provided within 24 hours of your order leaving the Kardiel warehouse. Average delivery times are 7-10 business days. The delivery company will schedule the delivery date and time window.

Hawaii & Alaska

For Hawaii and Alaska orders, allow 12-18 business days for arrival. Tracking numbers will be provided. These orders are not eligible for continental U.S. shipping promotions. Contact us by phone for a custom delivery quote before purchasing.
