Poul Henningsen designed the iconic Artichoke Lamp, a spherical form that embodies his passion for functionalism and natural living. Created in 1958, it offers a modern organic design that diffuses direct light. Originally commissioned for Copenhagen’s 'Langeline Pavalion' restaurant, these lamps remain an elegant example of form meeting function. This intricately detailed chandelier is a reproduction of Henningsen's original, featuring 12 arches and 11 rows of hand-cut leaves. The lamp's 66 'leaves' unfold into the classic artichoke shape, dispersing light softly and indirectly. This design preserves the legacy of Henningsen and his influence as the first 'lighting architect,' offering a globally recognized modern classic in lighting.
